We had another record breaking turnout in the Ranch Horse classes. We had excellent help from our volunteers...thank you all for filling in and helping the show to run smoothly. I was surprised by the cute day prizes. Great job by show management in the selection. Thank you Shelley Hurle for the raffle prizes.
NEXT SHOW DATE: June 2, 2019 (this is the last show of the season!). It will be a double point show. Which means not only Double the Points but Double Ribbons - Double Prizes - and Double the Fun! We have Michelle Oeher & George Hernandez as our Rail judges and Debbie Humphreys & Kathleen O'Malley as our Trail judges! Announcer: Lee Worshem Food: Kenny's Kamp Cooking (burgers)
1. Trail will be open from 10 am to 2 pm and we will run both Western and Ranch Horse trail during these hours.(When you give your exhibitor # to the judge please indicate which Division you are competing in. For example: Western or Ranch Horse)
2. Two warm up sessions now available: 8am - 10 am and 11:30 - 12 pm.A lunch break at 11:30 for the judges which means a half hour practice for those participating in the morning classes!!
This will be the final show of the year and a double pointer and the show sponsorship fee is $100.00 at the June show. If you are going for Year End Awards - don't forget to get your sponsorships paid for now. The Sponsor page on Hidha.net reflects who has paid their member sponsorships and in the running for year end awards.
Don't forget to pre-enter for additional savings. If you send your entry snail mail, be sure to email a copy of the entry form to alert the show management that your entry is on it's way just in case you beat the entry to the show or the post office misplaces it.
We are very excited to announce that the next Banquet will be held at the same location this year (Ramon's Mexican Restaurant). There will be limited seating so be sure to get your dinner tickets purchased as soon as soon as the date is announced. We are anticipating a mid to late September date. If you would like to give suggestions for the Annual General Member Meeting with regard to classes and rules we are open to exhibitors' input. You are what makes HiDHa a success.
HiDHA accepts Business Sponsorships so if you have any connections in the community please ask as we are a non-profit organization and all the money that gets collected we apply 100% to your year-end awards! All the forms can be found on our web site at www.hidha.net.
If you have some concerns or suggestions to make our shows more successful, please voice your opinions to Pam the show manager or any of the board members at the show! The board meeting are open and you are more than welcome to stop by. We meet at Texas Cattle Company at 6:30pm the 1st Wednesday of the month.
